Past ORC Fundraising Events & Activities 

2002-2012 - Annual Brunch and Dinner Fundraisers. Live & Silent Auctions at Newlands Golf & Country Club, Langley & Westwood Plateau, Coquitlam, B.C. Special guests included Pamela Martin, Former news anchor CTV News & Mr. Bill Vander Zalm, Former Premier of B.C.

2013 - Hugh Gillard published his autobiography “What did you Say?” Hugh born with cleft lip and palate donated the proceeds of his book sales to ORC.  

2013 - ORC 15th Year Anniversary Celebration and Fund Raiser

2014 - First Annual FORE the Kids Classic- Sundre Golf Club, Calgary

2015 - Big Rock Brewery Fundraiser hosted by Doreen, Ryan, and Trevor for India mission 2015.

2015 - ORC & Indo Africa Charity Society Fundraising Event

2015 - Krispy Crème Donut Sale organized by three high school students, Joshua, Amy & Betty to raise fund for India Mission.

2015 - Gale Kerslake and the Sewing Group of the Yale and District Ratepayers Association donated hundreds of blankets and toques for patients to use during surgery.

2016 - Share the Love Fundraising Concert - Featuring the Lord Byng Symphony Orchestra & The Amazing Agape Youth Group.

2016 - Talmud Torah Fund Raiser in June, ORC Director of Media Gary Hanney attended the Vancouver Talmud Torah School’s Ceremony of Giving and accepted a generous donation of $1,000 to ORC.

2016 - Krispy Crème Annual Donut Sale in August organized by high school student volunteers at Oakridge Shopping centre with their wonderful music. 

2016 - Retail owner of Rokko Sarees in Vancouver generously donated large amounts of fabric, which were subsequently turned into blankets, arm splints and surgical caps for the India mission.

2017 - The Rouge Event, hosted by Dr. Mahsa Soraya, raised $25,000 for ORC. The event featured entertainment, dinner and a live auction. 

2018 - Volunteer, Amelia Tu – Dancing Pii Show at Queen Elizabeth Playhouse Theatre. Fundraiser for ORC. 

2018 - ORC 20th Year Anniversary Celebration and Fund Raiser

2019 - Angela Care Dental “All You Need is Love” Charity Gala in February 

2020 - Dr. Kimit Rai published book on his life and the origins of ORC called “Helping Hands.”  Proceeds of book sales go to ORC.   

2020  - Dr. Kimit Rai published a children picture book called “Helping Hands” that depicts his life journey & features some of ORC’s missions and destinations. Proceeds of the book sales to ORC.
